Hello and Welcome

I [Cheyenne] grew up in a nowhere desert in Southern California — flat, empty, nothing that made you stop and look twice. Then I came to Washington at fourteen, saw the mountains, and everything shifted.

Now I photograph couples the same way I felt that first time I saw those peaks. I'm looking for the moment that stops you. Where the landscape, the light, and the love of two people become inseparable. I'm drawn to couples who want their story told in wild places. To the exhale before the vows. To hands finding each other without thinking. To how light becomes the memory itself. To you, exactly as you are.

Over ten years of photographing weddings and elopements, I've learned that this is not traditional wedding photography. I work from a place of creative vision, as a destination photographer who specializes in intimate moments — based in Washington, traveling everywhere your story leads. I move with the light and the feeling, directing you toward each other, then getting completely out of the way. You won't spend your day standing and smiling on command. Instead, you'll feel fully present because I'm fully present with you — not performing, not checking off shots, just witnessing what's already true. I move through moments with intention, capturing the alchemy of who you are together.

I believe in the long way over the fast one. In bearing witness to moments that are already sacred. In the belief that what's true between you is worth documenting. My job isn't to make you look good — it's to capture you being good together, and deliver that back to you in a way that feels like memory.
